Every September, the City of Garges-lès-Gonesse (95140) organises the Saint-Just Flea Market, one of the most eagerly awaited popular events in this town of over 42,000 residents north of Paris. The esplanade of the former Marché Saint-Just transforms for a Saturday into a vast flea market where seasoned bargain hunters, families and casual strollers mingle.

The market accommodates 160 stalls, all assigned to private sellers. Professionals are expressly excluded, ensuring the authentic spirit of the event: local residents empty their attics and basements to offer furniture, clothing, toys, crockery, books, vinyl records, electronics and the assorted bric-à-brac that makes large popular flea markets so compelling.

Modern, efficient organisation

Since 2022, the city has switched to online registration via the MyBrocante platform (mybrocante.fr). Sellers book their spots online, with priority given to Garges residents. Spaces fill up quickly – often within days – reflecting the event's enduring popularity.

Getting there

The former Marché Saint-Just is in the Saint-Just neighbourhood, easily accessible from the A1 motorway (Garges-Sarcelles exit) and by bus from RER D (Villiers-le-Bel – Gonesse – Arnouville) and RER B (Le Bourget) stations.
