Les Puces des Halles: monthly flea market in the heart of the Musette district in Dijon
In the heart of Dijon's historic center, the Musette district hosts a quality flea market around the Halles centrales, a masterpiece of metal architecture inspired by the Baltard Halles in Paris. Odebert, Claude Ramey and Quentin streets, pedestrianized for the occasion, are transformed into a market for antique dealers and flea market vendors where it is pleasant to stroll.
Les Puces des Halles brings together around forty professional exhibitors carefully selected, offering a varied and quality merchandise: Burgundian popular arts, decorative objects, antique linen and lace, display pieces, lighting, antique tableware, glassware and curiosities. The atmosphere is that of a true antique market, very different from neighborhood car boot sales.
The Musette district, named after the old Musette fountain, is one of the liveliest areas in the center of Dijon. The Halles centrales, built in 1873 and recently renovated, host a renowned food market during the week. On Puces days, the district takes on the air of an antique village, with its old facades and picturesque passages. Visitors can combine treasure hunting with a tasting of Burgundian specialties in the surrounding restaurants and bistros.
Les Puces des Halles are held on the 4th Sunday of the month, from April to October. Antique dealers open at 9 am and the event ends at 6 pm (exhibitors are allowed to pack up from 5 pm). Entry is free for visitors.
