Flea market at the Paulmy water's edge, two annual events in spring and summer in Southern Touraine
The Paulmy flea market is held at the communal water's edge, with two annual editions: in spring and summer. Organized by Paulmy Animations, this country flea market offers a pleasant setting for treasure hunting by the water in the south of Touraine.
The Paulmy flea market benefits from an exceptional setting: the communal water's edge, a developed pond surrounded by greenery. Organized by the association Paulmy Animations, it offers two annual events — in spring and summer — attracting treasure hunters from southern Touraine. Private and professional exhibitors offer furniture, tableware, trinkets, books, tools, toys, clothing, antique linens, and various second-hand items in a rustic and relaxed atmosphere.
Paulmy (37350) is a rural commune in the south of Touraine, located between Preuilly-sur-Claise and Descartes (formerly La Haye-Descartes), in a landscape of hedgerows, meadows, and small woods. The village has a communal water's edge developed for leisure, a 15th-16th century castle, and a Romanesque church. This southern part of Indre-et-Loire, bordering Indre and Vienne, retains a profoundly rural character and a sweetness of life characteristic of Touraine.
The water's edge offers a pleasant setting: shade, green spaces, and parking. Refreshments and food are available. Entry is free.
The Paulmy flea markets return on May 3rd and August 2nd, 2026 at the water's edge.
