Monthly multi-collections flea market at the Salle des Fêtes of Terrasson-Lavilledieu, the 4th Sunday of the month
Every 4th Sunday of the month, from September to April, the Salle des Fêtes in Terrasson-Lavilledieu hosts its multi-collections flea market. This indoor market brings together collectors, flea market dealers, and enthusiasts around a rich array of items: old postcards, stamps, coins, figurines, books, vinyl records, vintage toys, militaria, trinkets, and collector's curiosities.
Terrasson-Lavilledieu is a town of 6,000 inhabitants located at the gateway to the Périgord Noir, at the confluence of the Vézère river and its tributaries. The medieval town, dominated by its Romanesque bridge and ancient streets, is famous for its Jardins de l'Imaginaire, a remarkable contemporary garden offering an exceptional panorama of the valley. Terrasson is a natural stopover between Brive-la-Gaillarde and Sarlat-la-Canéda.
The Salle des Fêtes on Rue Aristide Briand offers a covered and heated space, perfectly suited for flea markets during the cold season. From September to April, exhibitors benefit from comfortable conditions to present their collections, and visitors can hunt for treasures protected from the weather. This monthly regularity allows regulars to follow new arrivals and develop trusting relationships with the merchants.
From Brive-la-Gaillarde, take the D6089 towards Sarlat (approx. 25 minutes). From Sarlat, take the D60 towards Montignac then Terrasson (approx. 30 minutes). The Salle des Fêtes is in the town center, Rue Aristide Briand.
