Annual Flea Market on May 1st at the Salle Saint-Pierre in Moncel-sur-Seille
Every May 1st, the village of Moncel-sur-Seille hosts its annual flea market, an event that has become a must-attend for treasure hunters in the region. Organized in the village center, around the Salle Saint-Pierre on Rue de Lorraine, this event attracts about 115 private exhibitors and numerous visitors from neighboring communes.
The organizers of the Moncel-sur-Seille flea market pay special attention to welcoming exhibitors. From 6 am, vendors can set up their stalls and benefit from complimentary coffee and a trash bag to maintain the cleanliness of the site. The spot is offered at an affordable price of €8 for 4 linear meters, making this one of the most accessible flea markets in the department.
Moncel-sur-Seille is a village crossed by the Seille, a tributary of the Moselle, in a landscape of plains and hills typical of Lorraine. A member of the Seille et Grand Couronné community of communes, the town offers a pleasant rural setting for this spring event. Visitors can take the opportunity to explore the banks of the Seille and the discreet heritage of this Lorraine village.
Catering is available on-site, allowing visitors and exhibitors to eat throughout the day. The friendly, village atmosphere of this flea market charms bargain hunters and Sunday strollers every year, in a relaxed and warm ambiance.
