The royal bastide of Villeréal hosts a flea market every month under its old hall from the 13th century, one of the most beautiful in Guyenne. The Association des commerçants de Villeréal organizes this event which benefits from an exceptional site in the heart of the bastide. Exhibitors set up over 1,000 square meters outdoors, around and under the wooden hall with its ornate framework.
Founded in the 13th century, Villeréal (47210) is one of the best-preserved bastides in Périgord-Agenais. Its central hall, its houses with cornières and its fortified church make it an architectural gem. The monthly flea market attracts visitors and antique dealers from neighboring departments (Lot, Dordogne, Gironde). Shops, bars, and restaurants in the center are open during the event. Registration is mandatory by phone.
In addition to the monthly flea market, Villeréal organizes its large Antiques and Flea Market Fair on May 1st (50th edition in 2026), a major event in the regional calendar with a hundred professional exhibitors setting up in all the squares of the bastide.
