30th Flea Market of the Balibeux — Nogent (52800), July
The Brocante des Balibeux in Nogent (52800) is one of the oldest and most popular flea market events in Haute-Marne. Organized every year in July by the association Les Balibeux, this festive event is celebrating its 30th edition, demonstrating its deep roots in the social and cultural life of Nogent and its surroundings.
With approximately 140 to 160 exhibitors, the Brocante des Balibeux is one of the most attended in the Nogent area. It takes place in the streets of Verdun and Fleury, transforming the town center into a second-hand and discovery market. Entry is free for visitors, as are the pitches for exhibitors, which helps attract a large number of participants and create a friendly and popular atmosphere.
Nogent (52800), in the Langres district, is a town known for its industrial history linked to cutlery. The Cutlery Museum bears witness to this centuries-old know-how that has made the town famous. With its approximately 4,000 inhabitants, Nogent is a dynamic commune whose annual Brocante des Balibeux has become one of its major festive events.
The Brocante des Balibeux is not just about strolling and finding bargains. The Les Balibeux association has enriched the event with activities that make it a true popular festival: carousel for children, on-site catering, musical ambiance, and guaranteed good humor. Exhibitors arrive as early as 7 am, and the festivities continue into the evening, creating a full day of celebration in the streets of Nogent's town center.
The Brocante des Balibeux is a must-attend summer event in Nogent (52800), organized by the association Les Balibeux in the Nogent-le-Bas district. Every year in July, over 150 exhibitors fill the streets of Verdun and Fleury, which are closed to traffic for the safety of bargain hunters.
Open to both professionals and individuals, this large flea market and car boot sale annually attracts several thousand visitors who come to hunt for furniture, crockery, books, clothes, trinkets, toys, and collector's items. Pitches are free for exhibitors (by reservation).
The exact date for the 2026 edition had not yet been published by the organizer at the time of our verification (June 2026). The flea market traditionally takes place on a Sunday in July.
