Every end of September, at 2 rue de Santranges in Beaulieu-sur-Loire (45630), the Brocante de la Pêche organized by the AAPPMA Les Pêcheurs Bellocéens takes place. This unique thematic event in the Loiret region brings together fishing enthusiasts for a morning of sales, exchanges, and swap meet dedicated to used fishing equipment.

A specialized flea market for fishing enthusiasts

Unlike general car boot sales, the Brocante de la Pêche de Beaulieu-sur-Loire is entirely dedicated to fishing gear. Fishing rods, reels, lures, lines, river fishing accessories, float fishing or casting, rigging boxes: all the angler's essentials are available at very attractive prices, often second-hand but in excellent condition.

Sales, swap meet, and exchanges

The event offers three types of interactions between participants: outright sales of items at reduced prices, a swap meet where anglers can trade their gear, and exchanges between enthusiasts which allow for discovering new techniques and making contacts with other fishing lovers from the Loiret and neighboring regions.

Les Pêcheurs Bellocéens: a dynamic association

The AAPPMA Les Pêcheurs Bellocéens is the local fishing association of Beaulieu-sur-Loire, affiliated with the Federation of the Loiret for Fishing and the Protection of Aquatic Environments (FDPPMA 45). Very active in managing fishing rights on the Loire and local aquatic environments, the association organizes this flea market every year to allow its members and anglers in the region to renew their equipment at a lower cost.
