Every autumn, the municipality of Givet — the northernmost town in the Ardennes, nestled in a bend of the Meuse river on the Belgian border — organizes a large annual flea market. Givet is a town steeped in history, dominated by the majestic Fort Charlemont, a fortress built by Charles V in 1555 and reinforced by Vauban in the 17th century.
