The Brocante de Francheleins: nearly 30 years of tradition

For almost three decades, the brocante of Francheleins has established itself as one of the unmissable Ascension events in the Ain Val de Saône region. The 29th edition in 2026 testifies to the vitality of this event organized by the "Classe en 7", an association of conscripts who enthusiastically perpetuate this popular tradition.

Over 300 exhibitors in a friendly atmosphere

The communal parking lot and the boules grounds on Rue de la Mairie host over 300 exhibitors each year, including individuals and professionals. The event starts very early, from 5 am for early birds, and continues until 7 pm. Flea market enthusiasts can find furniture, tableware, trinkets, collectibles, clothing, and a multitude of second-hand items at negotiable prices.

A gourmet and festive celebration

Beyond the flea market, the event is a true popular festival. The organizers offer generous and varied catering: paella, andouillette, grilled chicken with fries, hot dogs, crepes, and waffles. The refreshment stand allows visitors to cool down throughout the day. The atmosphere is warm and festive, reflecting the spirit of this Val de Saône commune where conviviality is second nature.

Information for exhibitors

The exhibitor fee is €2.50 per linear meter. Setup is possible from 4 am, with an option for pre-setup on the Wednesday evening before Ascension from 5 pm to 9 pm. Exhibitors can be individuals or professionals. Restrooms, parking, and catering services are available.
