Grand summer flea market in Bréhémont with 300 exhibitors, fishing village on the banks of the Loire
The Bréhémont flea market brings together 300 exhibitors each summer in this fishing village on the banks of the Loire. From 6 am to 7 pm, professionals and individuals take over the streets of this picturesque town between Azay-le-Rideau and Langeais for a day of treasure hunting along the water.
The Brocante de Bréhémont is one of the most beautiful summer flea markets in Indre-et-Loire. Every August, 300 exhibitors take over the streets of this Loire Valley village to offer antique furniture, tableware, earthenware, tools, books, trinkets, vintage clothing, toys, river marine objects, embroidered linens, and curiosities of all kinds. The exceptional setting—the banks of the Loire, tuffeau houses, and slate roofs—gives this flea market a unique atmosphere. The exhibitor fee is €2 per meter.
Bréhémont (37130) is a former village of fishermen and bargemen on the Loire, located between Azay-le-Rideau and Langeais. The town retains the typical architecture of Loire Valley villages: low tuffeau houses, mooring docks, and fishing nets drying in the sun. The Loire, a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers a landscape of sandbanks, islands, and dead arms of wild beauty. The village is a popular starting point for fishing and traditional boat trips on the river.
The Bréhémont flea market offers on-site catering, including barbecued meats. Parking is available. Admission is free for visitors.
The Bréhémont flea market returns on August 16, 2026, with 300 exhibitors on the banks of the Loire.
