Brocante du Comité des Œuvres Sociales place Bouzier à Chauny
The COS (Comité des Œuvres Sociales) flea market of the town of Chauny is held every year in April on Place Bouzier and its parking lot, in the heart of this sub-prefecture of Aisne. With 100 to 200 exhibitors, both individuals and professionals, this event offers a full day of treasure hunting from 6 am to 6 pm. The pitches are numbered and offered at 2 euros per linear meter, with refreshments and food available on site.
Organized by the Comité des Œuvres Sociales de la ville de Chauny, this flea market takes over Place Bouzier and its large parking lot every spring, right in the center of Chauny. This sub-prefecture of Aisne, located on the banks of the Oise and the Saint-Quentin canal, offers a lively urban setting for this treasure hunting day accessible to all.
Between 100 and 200 exhibitors set up from 4 am on numbered pitches. The stalls offer a wide range of second-hand items: crockery, furniture, clothing, toys, books, and trinkets of all kinds. Visitors are welcomed from 6 am to 6 pm, benefiting from free access to the event.
Chauny, a town of over 10,000 inhabitants, benefits from a central position in the north of Aisne, between Saint-Quentin and Laon. The COS flea market is part of the local associative dynamism and contributes to the animation of Place Bouzier, a traditional place for markets and events in the town. Refreshments and food on site allow visitors to spend a pleasant day.
