Annual flea market of the Plouguiel Twinning Committee in July at the municipal stadium
Every summer, in July, the Plouguiel Twinning Committee organizes a major flea market at the municipal stadium, rue du Stade. This event hosts between 100 and 200 exhibitors, making it one of the most important summer flea markets in Trégor. Registration is mandatory, at a rate of €3.50 per linear meter.
Plouguiel is a commune in Trégor, located between Tréguier, a listed episcopal city, and Plougrescant, famous for its Presqu'île Sauvage (Wild Peninsula) and the house between the rocks of the Gouffre. The commune is bathed by the waters of the Jaudy, a tidal river lined with woods and green valleys. This exceptional natural setting, between land and sea, gives the Plouguiel flea market a special charm that attracts treasure hunters from all over the north coast of Brittany.
The Twinning Committee takes care of welcoming exhibitors, with free coffee and pastries (croissants and chocolate pains) available from 7:30 am. Food and drinks are available throughout the day. The municipal stadium offers a large outdoor space with parking and access for people with reduced mobility. The profits contribute to the commune's twinning activities.
