Summer flea market in the flint village of Loir-et-Cher
The Comité des Fêtes de Meusnes organizes its annual flea market every summer in July in this village in the south of Loir-et-Cher, between Valençay and Saint-Aignan. Exhibitors set up in the village center for a summer of bargain hunting in a rural and historic setting.
Meusnes is a village steeped in history, once renowned for its production of flint (knapped silex) which supplied European armies from the 17th to the 19th century. A Flint Museum bears witness to this unique heritage. This historical context gives a special flavor to bargain hunting in this village where attics sometimes hold treasures related to this ancestral activity.
The event, organized by village volunteers, offers bric-a-brac, crockery, toys, and various items. Refreshments and food on site complete this friendly day in the heart of Berry solognot.
Meusnes village center (41130). Between Valençay and Saint-Aignan.
Sunday in July.
Free entry for visitors.
