The Brocante Charmant en Fête is the highlight of the festive weekend of the Frairie de Charmant, organized every year in April in the village of Charmant, a delegated commune of Boisné-La Tude. The Comité des Fêtes de Charmant-Juillaguet organizes this friendly event which combines a flea market, a producers' market, and village entertainment.

A flea market in the heart of the village

The flea market takes place in the Place de Charmant and the adjacent village streets. Exhibitors – both private and professional – are welcomed from 6 in the morning with free coffee. The pitch price of €1 per linear meter makes this event particularly accessible. You can find classic flea market items, second-hand goods, furniture, tableware, and curiosities of all kinds.

Boisné-La Tude, a rural commune in the south of Charente

Boisné-La Tude is a new commune in the south of Charente, formed by the merger of several former communes, including Charmant. Nestled in the Tude valley, this rural commune offers a preserved country setting, between vineyards and forests. The village of Charmant retains a Romanesque church and picturesque streets that form an ideal backdrop for the flea market.

Festivities and catering

The Frairie de Charmant is not limited to the flea market: the day continues with a market of local producers and artisans. In the evening, a festive meal hosted by a DJ extends the festivities late into the night, making this weekend an unmissable moment of conviviality for the inhabitants of the south of Charente.
