Grand annual bric à brac in the village of Agris organized by the fête committee
For over twenty years, the Comité des Fêtes d'Agris has organized its annual bric à brac in the village of this Charente commune. Now an unmissable summer event, this gathering brings together between 100 and 200 exhibitors each summer who take over the village streets and squares for a full day of popular and friendly treasure hunting.
Agris is a rural commune in northern Charente, located between La Rochefoucauld and Chasseneuil-sur-Bonnieure. The village, with its limestone houses typical of the region, offers a picturesque setting for this summer event. The commune is also known for the famous helmet of Agris, a masterpiece of Gallic goldsmithing discovered in the Grotte des Perrats, a testament to a prestigious Celtic past.
At only 1 euro per linear meter, the bric à brac d'Agris offers one of the most attractive prices in Charente. This low-price policy, true to the bric à brac spirit, encourages the widest possible participation and a diversity of objects offered. From furniture to trinkets, tools to books, clothes to toys, each stand holds treasures at low prices.
The Comité des Fêtes ensures exhibitors are welcomed from 6 am and visitors from 7 am, for a day that lasts until 6 pm. On-site food and drinks allow visitors to enjoy a full day in this Charente village. Dedicated parking facilitates access to the event for visitors from surrounding communes.
