Flea market on May 1st at Parc de la Nied in Bouzonville
Every May 1st, the Parc de la Nied in Bouzonville transforms into a vast open-air flea market. More than 80 exhibitors, both individuals and professionals, set up their stalls along the Nied river to offer knick-knacks, tableware, clothing, books, toys, and collectibles. The event starts at 7 am, with the tradition of croissants and hot coffee offered by the organizers.
Bouzonville is a small town of about 4,000 inhabitants located in the northeast of Moselle, near the German and Luxembourg borders. Crossed by the German Nied river, the town has a remarkable heritage with the remains of its Sainte-Croix Abbey founded in the 11th century. Parc de la Nied, located along the river, offers a green and pleasant setting for this spring flea market.
The May 1st flea market is designed to welcome families: a play area is available for children, picnic tables allow for outdoor dining, and restrooms are accessible. The Nautic Club de Bouzonville provides refreshments and snacks throughout the day.
