Sunday 12 April flea market in Boufféré
Boufféré, now a delegated commune of Montaigu-Vendée after the 2019 merger, opens the North-Vendée bocage season on Sunday 12 April 2026. April dates are interesting — very early season, families gearing up for spring-summer, chineurs emerging from winter.
April flea markets feel like spring arriving. Sellers glad to be out, chineurs eager. Items often reflect a big winter clean: seasonal clothes, garden gear, tools, summer sports equipment.
Former Vendée commune, now delegated commune of Montaigu-Vendée since 1 January 2019 (merged with Montaigu, Saint-Georges-de-Montaigu, La Guyonnière). The new commune has nearly 20,000 — main North-Vendée town. Boufféré keeps its own identity: village, Saint-Jean-Baptiste church, active community.
At the intersection of Nantes-La Roche-sur-Yon (D137/A83) and Nantes-Les Sables-d'Olonne. Ideal meeting point for chineurs across Loire-Atlantique and North Vendée. Nantes 40 min, La Roche-sur-Yon 30 min.
Montaigu-Vendée is one of Vendée's most economically dynamic areas. Boufféré benefits while keeping its village feel.
Montaigu (fortified historic centre, château), the Maine river banks and old mills, or Puy du Fou (Les Epesses, 25 min). Saint-Philbert-de-Bouaine and lake for nature lovers.
Boufféré, 85600 Montaigu-Vendée. Exact venue via organiser.
Sunday 12 April 2026.
Free.
At the entrance of Montaigu-Vendée on A83/D137 Nantes-La Roche. 40 min Nantes, 30 min La Roche-sur-Yon, 25 min Puy du Fou.
