Over 300 private sellers on rue Ferdinand de Lesseps for the traditional Whitsun flea market
Bouffémont is a residential town of around 5,000 inhabitants in the Val-d'Oise, surrounded by greenery near the Montmorency forest. Each Whit Sunday, the town comes alive with the Brocante de la Pentecôte, organised by the municipality's Animation service. The event fills rue Ferdinand de Lesseps with a lively open-air flea market.
The brocante regularly draws over 300 private sellers, who bring furniture, clothing, toys, decorative objects, crockery, tools, books and vinyl records. Entry is free for visitors, and a relaxed family atmosphere prevails. A refreshment stand operates throughout the day.
