About Mineral Show
The Blotzheim Mineral Show is a must-attend event for geologists and collectors. This 4th edition welcomes around forty professional exhibitors who present collector's items, fossils, and specimens from all over the world. A family event combining scientific discovery and entertainment, with workshops for children and a wellness area.
This edition highlights micro-mineralogy, revealing structures invisible to the naked eye. Binocular magnifiers and 3D images allow the public to observe details that transform the perception of an ordinary stone. Conferences and workshops throughout the weekend explain these fascinating techniques.
The event is intergenerational with fun workshops, stone fishing, and small surprises allowing children to learn while having fun. A dedicated wellness area offers moments of relaxation and rest, while refreshments and a bar facilitate extended visits.
