Organized every year in June at the Palais des Sports de Blois, the military antiques fair has become a major event for collectors of antique weapons and militaria in the Centre-Val de Loire region. The event is in its 15th edition in 2026.

A fair for military history enthusiasts

Around 50 exhibitors, professionals and private individuals, offer a wide range of items: regulated antique weapons, military decorations, uniforms, helmets, historical documents, medals, insignia, and trench objects. Collectors come from all over the region to find rare pieces.

Organization and setting

The association ADA TIR, based in Blois, organizes this event in strict compliance with regulations on antique weapons. The Palais des Sports offers a spacious and comfortable indoor space for exhibitors and visitors. The entrance fee is set at €3.

Items offered

The Blois military antiques fair offers a wide selection of items related to French and international military history: regulated antique weapons (category D), decorations and medals, uniforms and military headwear, helmets and equipment, period documents and photographs, staff maps, regimental insignia, World War I trench objects, and military models. The exhibitors, mostly professionals, guarantee the authenticity of their pieces.

A meeting for history enthusiasts

Beyond the commercial aspect, this fair is a place for exchange and knowledge sharing among military history enthusiasts. Exhibitors are often specialists capable of tracing the history of an object, identifying a regiment from an insignia, or dating a photograph. It is also an opportunity to discover little-known aspects of local history: the Loir-et-Cher, a land of garrisons and resistance, has a rich military history.

All transactions comply with French regulations on antique weapons. Only category D weapons (historical and collectible weapons manufactured before 1900) are allowed for free sale. The ADA TIR association, approved for organizing this type of event, ensures strict compliance with current legislation. The Palais des Sports de Blois offers a spacious and secure setting for this event.
