About Beaumont Car Boot Sale

The Beaumont Car Boot Sale celebrates its 23rd edition in May 2026. With around 300 exhibitors spread throughout the streets of the city center, it is one of the largest car boot sales in the first ring of Clermont-Ferrand. The shopping streets and squares of downtown Beaumont are transformed into a huge open-air market where individuals offer thousands of second-hand items. The event attracts several thousand visitors each year.

For 23 years, the Beaumont Car Boot Sale has been a major event in the Puy-de-Dôme flea market calendar. 300 exhibitors take over the streets of the city center, creating a treasure hunt route of about one kilometer through the historic heart of Beaumont. The stalls are overflowing with items of all kinds: furniture, clothing, toys, dishes, appliances, tools, books, vinyl records, trinkets, and curiosities.

On the day of the car boot sale, downtown Beaumont takes on a festive air. The shops in the city center remain open and benefit from the influx of visitors. Food stalls line the route, and the atmosphere is resolutely festive and family-friendly.
