A Village Car Boot Sale at the Foot of the Pyrenees

The Aspet car boot sale is held each year in the center of this historic town in the Pyrenean foothills, on the Pré commun. From 7:30 am to 5 pm, exhibitors offer a wide range of second-hand items: furniture, clothing, toys, crockery, tools, books, and trinkets. The event is organized by local associations, including the APE (Association des Parents d'Élèves) and ADMR d'Aspet, and is a highlight of village life.

Aspet, Canton Capital of Comminges

Aspet is a town of about 950 inhabitants located 25 km south of Saint-Gaudens, at an altitude of 530 meters. A former canton capital, this small town has a notable historical heritage: the remains of a 13th-century castle overlook the town from a ridge-shaped hill, while the old center retains its medieval streets and stone houses. Aspet is also a popular starting point for hikes in the central Pyrenees, on the border between Haute-Garonne and Ariège.

Pitches are offered at the modest price of 2 euros per linear meter, and a free breakfast is provided to exhibitors.
