The AS Ermont Brocante: a community summer fair
Every summer, AS Ermont sports club organises its annual brocante at the Complexe sportif Rebuffat, 1 allée Jean de Florette, Ermont. Between 200 and 300 private sellers set up stalls from dawn, offering the contents of attics and cellars across the Val-d'Oise: furniture, clothing, toys, crockery, books, vinyl records and all manner of objects. Visitors benefit from up to 1,345 free parking spaces at the adjacent Carrefour supermarket. A BBQ and refreshment stand keep the atmosphere lively throughout the day. Proceeds support the club's sports activities and youth programmes.
