A brocante for local fishing

Arçay is a rural Loudunais commune in north-western Vienne, around 250 inhabitants, on the Maine-et-Loire border. On Sunday 26 April 2026, the local AAPPMA (Approved Fishing and Aquatic Environment Protection Association) runs its yearly brocante to fund its work: bank maintenance, fish stocking, route management, youth education.

AAPPMAs are fishing associations that manage rivers, streams and ponds locally. Arçay's tends to Dive tributary streams and regularly runs events to keep members bonded and fund actions. This yearly brocante is a flagship, drawing anglers from across the department and local thrifters.
