The APEL of the Sainte-Marie school of Charlieu is organizing its grand car boot sale on the Place des Bénédictins, in the heart of this medieval town in the north of the Loire. Approximately 150 exhibitors will take over the square from 5 am to 6 pm. The event takes place in an exceptional heritage setting, a stone's throw from the Benedictine abbey and the Romanesque cloister.
The APEL Sainte-Marie Car Boot Sale
Charlieu, a medieval town in the north of the Loire famous for its Benedictine abbey and its 11th-century Romanesque cloister, hosts the APEL of the Sainte-Marie school's car boot sale every year on the Place des Bénédictins. With around 150 exhibitors, it is one of the town's major events.
A unique historical setting
The Place des Bénédictins, located in the heart of Charlieu's historic center, offers a remarkable setting for this day of bargain hunting. Visitors can admire the medieval half-timbered facades while browsing the stalls. The Sainte-Marie school makes its courtyard available to exhibitors.
Early morning bargain hunters arrive as early as 5 am to find the best deals before the crowds. Refreshments and food available on site.
