The Saint-Yvi Militaria and Antique Arms Fair

Every May, the town of Saint-Yvi (29140) hosts a specialized fair for militaria and antique arms, which has become over the years one of the most reputable events of its kind in Brittany. Organized by FDABCCC29 (Fédération Départementale des Armes à Brocante et Collections du Finistère), the event brings together about sixty specialized exhibitors from all over France.

On the stalls, enthusiasts and collectors can find a selection of military and civilian items: uniforms and equipment from the two World Wars, decorations and medals, regulation handguns and antique rifles, field equipment, military documents, period photographs, toy soldiers, and model-making parts. The fair is open to both experienced collectors and the curious wishing to discover this world.

Access Conditions and Details

The fair is held at the Saint-Yvi sports hall, a space suitable for hosting about sixty stands. Entry is set at €3 for adult visitors, and free for those under 16. Exhibitors can set up from Saturday evening before the event, starting at 5:30 PM, and have access from 6 AM on Sunday morning.

Several Successful Editions

This fair is now in its sixth edition, proof of its establishment in the associative and collector landscape of Finistère. The first editions welcomed dozens of exhibitors and hundreds of visitors, and the success is confirmed each year. Saint-Yvi has established itself as a reference point for militaria enthusiasts in Brittany.
