37 years of military passion in Commequiers

Commequiers, 3,000 inhabitants some 20 km north-east of Les Sables-d'Olonne, has hosted this collections and military antiques show for over three decades. With 37 editions by 2026, it's one of the oldest of its kind in Pays de la Loire.

A reference for military history and specialised collectors. About forty exhibitors from across France bring varied and sometimes exceptional pieces.

Not a flea market but a true collectors' and professionals' event. Items often authenticated with their history. Both accessible starter pieces and rare items for seasoned buyers. Exhibitors gladly share knowledge.

Beyond selling, it's a space for exchange, appraisal, sometimes barter. Collectors complete series, identify pieces, meet peers. Beginners get advice.

Commequiers, between bocage and marsh

A dynamic small town of Challans canton, between bocage and Machecoul marshes. Known for its 15th-c. castle ruins (listed monument). 20 min from the coast (Saint-Gilles, Saint-Jean-de-Monts).

Commequiers castle ruins (free), Saint-Gilles & Saint-Jean-de-Monts beaches 20 min. Pays de Saint-Gilles cycling (Vélodyssée). Saint-Pierre-du-Chemin Resistance Memorial 1 hour.

Confirmed rendezvous

Officially listed for 16 August 2026 on specialist sites. Held in an indoor hall, rain-proof. Small entry fee supports the volunteer organisation.
