The Anim'ma Vie association organizes its big car boot sale every year at the Parc Tressé in Ombrée-d'Anjou (49420). In its 19th edition, this event has established itself as one of the most enduring popular gatherings in Haut-Anjou, bringing together exhibitors and visitors in a green setting in the heart of the former town of Pouancé.
The Parc Tressé offers an exceptional natural setting for this event: century-old trees, generous lawns, and a bucolic atmosphere create the ideal backdrop for a day of bargain hunting in the open air. Private exhibitors display their stalls with a varied offering: clothing for all seasons, toys and games, books and magazines, crockery and tableware, furniture and decorative objects, tools and equipment, trinkets and curiosities.
The Anim'ma Vie association is one of the most active in Ombrée-d'Anjou, working to liven up the area and maintain social life in this rural sector of northern Maine-et-Loire. Nineteen years of uninterrupted organization attest to its reliability and its ability to retain a loyal audience of exhibitors and visitors.
Pouancé, now a delegated commune of Ombrée-d'Anjou (49420), is a former fortified town in Maine-et-Loire, guarding the border between Anjou, Brittany, and Maine. Its 14th-century medieval castle, one of the best-preserved in the department, overlooks the artificial lake of Pouancé and its wooded banks.
The town of Pouancé retains a strong identity within the new commune of Ombrée-d'Anjou, with its historic center, shops, and services. The Parc Tressé, a landscaped green space in the heart of the town, is the preferred gathering place for residents for cultural and festive events. Its tree-lined setting makes it one of the green lungs of Ombrée-d'Anjou.
