14th edition of the plant and garden fair at Parc Audeoud in Avolsheim
The 14th Parc Audeoud Plant Fair takes place on Saturday April 25, 2026 from 10am to 5:30pm at Parc Audeoud in Avolsheim, in the centre of the village opposite the church. Jointly organised by the Association of Friends of Avolsheim (AAA) and the Association for Culture, Leisure and Musical Animation of Avolsheim (ACLAMA), this fair open to all offers amateur gardeners the opportunity to exhibit and sell their flowers, vegetables and other plants. Professional exhibitors offer products and tools related to gardening: garden tools, outdoor decorations, plant-derived products. Throughout the day, refreshments and light catering are available, with a more substantial meal served at noon.
The 14th Parc Audeoud Plant Fair is the unmissable spring event for gardeners in the Bruche valley and the Vosges foothills. Set up in the green setting of Parc Audeoud, a tree-lined space in the centre of the village opposite the church, this fair brings together passionate amateur gardeners and plant professionals for a day dedicated to the garden and nature. Amateur gardeners come to exhibit and sell their productions: vegetable plants (tomatoes, courgettes, lettuces, aromatic herbs), seasonal flowers (geraniums, petunias, pansies, dahlias), perennials, grasses, rock garden plants, roses, shrubs and rare plants from divisions or cuttings.
Alongside the amateur gardeners, professional exhibitors offer a wide range of garden-related products: garden tools (secateurs, spades, watering cans, stakes), outdoor decorations (artisan pottery, trellises, fountains, birdhouses, mobiles), plant-derived products (herbal teas, essential oils, artisan soaps, local honey, homemade jams), organic seeds, composts and soil amendments. Professional advice is given throughout the day to guide visitors in their choices and gardening techniques. The atmosphere is rustic, family-friendly and conducive to exchanges between plant enthusiasts.
Avolsheim is a charming village of about 1,100 inhabitants located in the Bruche valley, between Molsheim and Mutzig. The village is famous for housing the Dompeter (or Domus Petri), considered the oldest church in Alsace, erected probably in the 10th century and possibly on the foundations of an 8th-century Carolingian sanctuary. Not far away stands the Saint-Ulrich chapel, a small pre-Romanesque gem. Avolsheim is therefore a major site of Alsatian religious heritage, and Parc Audeoud is a green setting in the heart of this history-laden village, ideal for hosting this spring plant fair that has become an anticipated annual event.
