Grand flea market and car boot sale on August 15th in Villamblard with over 300 exhibitors
For nearly thirty years, August 15th has meant treasure hunting in Villamblard. The Villam'Broc, organized by the Association Taillefer, has become over the years one of the most popular flea markets in the Dordogne department. Over 300 exhibitors, both individuals and professionals, take over the town center for a full day of bargains and conviviality.
Stalls are set up along rue Gabriel Reymond and the adjacent streets of Villamblard, a small village in Périgord located between Périgueux and Bergerac. The rural and authentic setting of the village adds a touch of charm to this popular event. Visitors browse the stalls from 7 am, taking advantage of the cool morning air to find the best deals.
The diversity of stalls is the richness of the Villam'Broc: antique furniture, tableware, trinkets, vintage clothing, toys, books, tools, vinyl records, and collectibles are piled high on the stalls. The fee of €2 per linear meter (or €8 for a 4-meter module) makes the event accessible to all sellers, from individuals to flea market professionals.
The day doesn't end at 6 pm. From 7 pm, a gourmet market takes over the village streets, offering local Périgord specialties. The evening continues with a dance party, extending the August 15th festivities in a joyful and popular atmosphere. A carousel for children completes the family entertainment.
