On March 22 and 23, 2025, the village of Onans transformed into an open-air treasure hunting ground for its annual house clear-out. From 8 a.m., residents who had submitted their prior declaration at the grocery store la Re-Création opened their doors, garages, and attics to visitors who came to rummage through decades of everyday objects.

The treasure hunt route through the streets of this stone Comtois village, with its traditional houses and bell tower, offered an authentic and picturesque flea market experience. Countryside furniture, antique crockery, tools, books, clothing, and trinkets found buyers among collectors from all over the Montbéliard-L'Isle-sur-le-Doubs area. The Onans house clear-out returns on March 28 and 29, 2026.
