OGEC Notre-Dame school solidarity event

Run by the OGEC (Catholic Schools Management) of Notre-Dame-de-Bourgenay. Proceeds fund school trips, materials and nature classes. Useful bargaining: help the local school while hunting.

What you'll find

Mostly private sellers: clothes, toys, crockery, books, records, knick-knacks, small furniture, beach and garden items. Being oceanside, you often spot sea objects: nets, hooks, buoys, nautical charts, boat paintings, decorative shells. Very relaxed vibe among hunters, families and summer residents.

Port Bourgenay, unique setting

1980s-built family resort around a marina. Tourism residences, preserved pinewoods, supervised beaches, shops, golf, casino. The treed frame and ocean proximity make this a one-of-a-kind flea market setting.

Tips

Cash, hat, sunscreen (pine shade + sunny gaps), big bag for finds, small cool bag for picnic. Combine with a swim, a walk at the port or round the golf.
