Car boot sale École de Bassac

On Saturday, May 31, 2025, the parents of the Pierre Marcilhacy primary school organized the annual Bassac car boot sale, at 2 route de Condé. The exhibitors, mainly individuals from the village and surrounding areas, offered clothes, toys, crockery, books, and various items at low prices.

The family-friendly and warm atmosphere characterized this edition, with a refreshment stand and a cake stand run by volunteer parents. The funds raised will help finance educational projects and school trips for the children. The bucolic setting of Bassac, on the banks of the Charente and in the shade of the Saint-Étienne Abbey, added to the charm of this spring treasure hunting day.
