Spring car boot sale facing the Château de Ménars in Val de Loire
The Ménars car boot sale is held every year in April in this Loire village famous for its château, former residence of Madame de Pompadour. Exhibitors set up in the village center for a day of spring treasure hunting just a stone's throw from the Loire and the exceptional architectural heritage of this right-bank village.
Ménars, a village on the right bank of the Loire located between Blois and Mer, is famous for its château, the former property of Madame de Pompadour. Every spring in April, the village hosts its annual car boot sale in the village center, offering treasure hunters a remarkable heritage setting.
The Château de Ménars, a listed historic monument, overlooks the village and the Loire from its majestic facade. This exceptional setting gives the car boot sale a special charm. The village streets, with their tuffeau houses typical of the Val de Loire, add to the charm of this spring treasure hunting day.
Exhibitors, mainly individuals, offer bric-a-brac, tableware, trinkets, toys, and clothes. The proximity of the Loire and the levee allows you to combine a visit to the car boot sale with a walk along the riverbank.
The Ménars car boot sale returns in April 2026 at the foot of Madame de Pompadour's château.
Ménars village center (41500). Between Blois and Mer, on the right bank of the Loire.
