Annual indoor and outdoor car boot sale, organized by the Twinning Committee of Luc-sur-Mer
Each spring, the Twinning Committee of Luc-sur-Mer organizes a car boot sale popular with locals and bargain hunters on the Côte de Nacre. The event is held at the Salle Tessel, rue du Docteur Tessel, with both indoor and outdoor pitches, allowing exhibitors to set up regardless of the weather.
Luc-sur-Mer is a charming seaside resort in Calvados, twinned with the towns of Mildenhall (England) and Frickenhausen (Germany). The Twinning Committee, founded in 1991, works to develop friendly relations between these three municipalities. The car boot sale is one of its flagship events to fund cultural and linguistic exchanges.
About fifty pitches are available to individuals. The prices are €5 per meter outdoors and €7.50 per meter indoors. Tables and chairs are not provided. Booking is highly recommended with the committee.
The volunteers of the Twinning Committee provide on-site catering: fries, sausages, sandwiches, and cakes to eat throughout the day. Entry is free for visitors.
