The POITE spring car boot sale brought the Espace Joffre in Villelongue-de-la-Salanque to life on Sunday 27 April 2025, gathering private exhibitors and bargain hunters from across the Salanque. Visitors walked the aisles from 8 a.m. in search of good deals, among clothes, toys, books, trinkets and small furniture. The drinks stand and food service run by the POITE association let families take a tasty break before heading home with their bags. This edition confirmed the popularity of this spring event, which draws many locals from the Catalan plain every year.
