Grand car boot sale on the banks of the Arguenon in Plancoët, 120 exhibitors
Every first Sunday of September, the quays of Plancoët are transformed into a vast open-air flea market. Organized by the association Les Riverains de l'Arguenon, this car boot sale brings together about 120 exhibitors who set up their stalls along the riverbanks, in a green and picturesque setting.
Plancoët is a commune of 3,000 inhabitants nestled in the Arguenon valley, between Dinan and Lamballe, in Côtes-d'Armor. The town is famous for its Plancoët mineral water, drawn from the depths of the Breton granite subsoil. The quays along the Arguenon are a popular place for a walk, ideal for hosting a car boot sale.
The Plancoët car boot sale marks the end of the summer season in the Arguenon valley. Bargain hunters will find a wide variety of items: clothing, toys, crockery, books, trinkets, tools, and decorative items. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, conducive to good deals.
Volunteers from Les Riverains de l'Arguenon offer sausages and fries on site, in the purest tradition of Breton flea markets. Enough to regain strength between two stalls.
