Annual car boot sale organized by the Georges Pompidou-ENILV agricultural high school in Aurillac
Every spring, the Lycée Georges Pompidou-ENILV in Aurillac opens its doors to host a car boot sale organized by the students and the school's teaching staff. Named "Cap sur Paris", this event aims to raise funds to finance a school trip to Paris for the high school students. A great example of a unifying project combining student initiative and a spirit of solidarity.
The LEGTA-ENILV Georges Pompidou, located on rue de Salers in Aurillac, is a recognized public agricultural education institution. Specializing in training related to the milk and meat industries, it trains dozens of future professionals in the agri-food sector each year. The high school has modern facilities, including technological workshops and laboratories, making it a center of excellence in the heart of Cantal.
The high school's car boot sale takes place on the school grounds, offering a spacious and easily accessible setting. Visitors can find a wide variety of items: clothing, toys, books, dishes, small decorative items, and everyday objects. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, with students actively participating in welcoming visitors and organizing the day.
By participating in this car boot sale, whether as an exhibitor or a visitor, you directly contribute to the financing of the students' school trip. This initiative is part of a strong educational goal: to teach young people how to set up a project, organize collectively, and take on responsibilities. A wonderful Cantal project that deserves support.
