Twice a year, in spring and autumn, the Rambouillet Racecourse hosts a large open-air flea market. The May edition marks the launch of the bargain hunting season in the southern Yvelines. Reserved for private individuals, this event allows residents to sell or hunt in an exceptional setting.

The Villeneuve Racecourse, built in 1889, is one of the oldest in France. Outside race meetings, its vast lawns regularly host major popular events.

Unlike professional flea markets, the Racecourse Flea Market is strictly reserved for private exhibitors. This guarantees authenticity and soft prices: you mainly find items from local homes, cupboards and cellars.

Coming to the racecourse flea market means enjoying an exceptional environment. The Rambouillet state forest (14,000 hectares), the presidential castle, the national sheepfold and the historic city centre are all within minutes.
