Every spring, the courtyard and surroundings of the Kergomard-Récamier public primary school, located at rue de l'Armée Belge in the Châteauvert district of Valence, transform into a second-hand market. The association Les Amis de Kergomard-Récamier organizes a car boot sale open to individuals, combining a flea market and plant sale for two events in one.

A Formula Appreciated by Valence Families

Pitches are offered at €2 per meter upon registration with the association by email. Individuals from the neighborhood, parents of students, and residents of Valence set up to sell second-hand items, clothes, books, and games. In parallel, plants for transplanting or potting are offered for sale, giving a spring gardening dimension to this neighborhood flea market.

Proceeds for the Students

Profits generated from pitch fees and plant sales fund the association's treasury, which finances school trips, educational projects, and equipment for the school's students.
