A flea market at the gates of Paris

Viroflay, a town in the Yvelines located on the edge of Hauts-de-Seine and immediately adjacent to Chaville, hosts every year in May a flea market popular with residents of western Paris. The event takes place on Place de Verdun, at the Chaville-Vélizy station parking lot, a site perfectly accessible by both public transport and car.

A large urban sale

The Viroflay flea market is held outdoors, across the entire station parking lot. Exhibitors, mainly individuals, offer a wide range of typical flea market items: clothing for the whole family, tableware, small furniture, toys, books, comics, records, trinkets, small appliances and sometimes some fine flea market pieces. The Whit Monday format, a public holiday, allows a wide audience to enjoy the event peacefully.

Viroflay, a popular residential town

With around 16,000 inhabitants, Viroflay is a green residential town highly appreciated for its quality of life and its proximity to Paris. Crossed by the Meudon forest, it offers a pleasant setting. The two Viroflay stations make it a town perfectly connected to Paris, Versailles and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.

A practical and accessible location

The choice of the Chaville-Vélizy station parking lot reflects a concern for optimal accessibility. Directly served by the Transilien N line, the station allows visitors to arrive in minutes from Paris without worrying about parking. Motorists benefit from direct access via the N118 and D53.

A day to combine with a visit to Meudon or Versailles

Viroflay's proximity to other tourist destinations allows for a pleasant extended day. Versailles and its world-famous château are ten minutes away by car, the Meudon state forest invites you to an afternoon walk, and Saint-Cloud is very close.
