In Choisy-le-Roi, the Boulistes Sportifs de Choisy association has been organising a garage sale on Avenue de la Folie for several years, transforming this local thoroughfare into a lively second-hand market. The 2026 edition was the subject of an official municipal order regulating traffic and parking on Avenue de la Folie to allow the event to take place, confirming the municipality's support for local associative initiatives.
The event welcomes around 100 private sellers, with free entry for visitors. Located in the heart of Choisy-le-Roi, a Seine-side town of nearly 44,000 inhabitants, the event is easily accessible by public transport including the RER C (Choisy-le-Roi station).
