Annual car boot sale on the Cornil town hall square, organized by the Comité des Fêtes
Every spring, the town hall square in Cornil, Place Jean-Marie Dauzier, hosts a car boot sale organized by the Comité des Fêtes of the commune. This annual event brings together exhibitors offering their second-hand items in a picturesque setting, in the heart of this village in the Corrèze valley.
Cornil is a commune located halfway between Tulle, the prefecture of Corrèze, and Brive-la-Gaillarde, the largest town in the department. This central position makes it a popular stopover, and its car boot sale naturally attracts visitors from both urban areas. The village, with its stone houses and church, offers an authentic and warm atmosphere.
Pitches are offered at a rate of 2.50 euros per meter, allowing a good number of exhibitors to be accommodated in the square and adjacent streets. Setup begins early in the morning, and the event continues until late afternoon.
The Comité des Fêtes provides refreshments and catering on site, with fries available throughout the day. Entry is free for visitors, who can browse the stalls in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
