Car boot sale by the 2nd arrondissement shopkeepers on the Grands Boulevards
On Saturday 25 April 2026, boulevard de Bonne Nouvelle, one of the finest arteries of the Parisian Grands Boulevards, hosts its annual car boot sale organised by the 2nd arrondissement shopkeepers association. Private sellers and locals set up on this historic boulevard, between Porte Saint-Denis and rue Poissonnière, for a day of friendly treasure hunting in central Paris.
On Saturday 25 April 2026, 2nd arrondissement shopkeepers set up on boulevard de Bonne Nouvelle for their annual car boot sale.
Mostly local residents selling: clothing, books, toys, tableware, vinyls and CDs, small appliances, costume jewellery, trinkets, decoration.
Named after the Notre-Dame-de-Bonne-Nouvelle church. Traced in the late 17th century on Charles V's former fortifications, it is part of the Grands Boulevards, birthplace of 19th-century boulevard theatre and cinema. Historic cinemas (Grand Rex, Max Linder) still line the axis.
The 2nd arrondissement is one of Paris' liveliest. The Sentier district concentrates fashion trades, covered passages and historic squares enrich the urban fabric.
Arrive early. Enjoy the countless cafés and restaurants.
