Annual flea market organized by APEMCS at the stadium of Courtonne-les-Deux-Églises, near Orbec
The APEMCS (Association des Parents d'Élèves MCS) organizes a flea market every year in June at the stadium of Courtonne-les-Deux-Églises, at 12 Route de Lisieux. This family event brings together between 50 and 100 exhibitors in a rural setting typical of the Pays d'Auge, a few kilometers from Orbec.
Courtonne-les-Deux-Églises is a rural commune in Calvados nestled in the Pays d'Auge, an emblematic region of Normandy renowned for its apple trees, rolling pastures, and half-timbered architecture. The village, located near Orbec and halfway between Lisieux and Bernay, takes its name from its two historic churches. The municipal stadium, on the edge of the Route de Lisieux, offers an ideal space to host the flea market.
The event starts as early as 5 am, making it one of the earliest car boot sales in the region. The most motivated bargain hunters can thus rummage through the stalls before the crowds, looking for rare items and good deals. The day continues until 6 pm for visitors and 7 pm for exhibitors.
APEMCS offers coffee to exhibitors upon arrival, a welcome gesture appreciated from the early hours. Refreshments and food are provided throughout the day by the association's volunteers. Toilets and parking are available. Entry is free for visitors.
