Each spring, the Parents' Association (APE) of Cherves-Richemont organizes a car boot sale on the Champ de Foire square, a large space in the heart of the village. This event, open from 6:30 AM for early birds until 6:30 PM, brings together individuals and families in a warm and supportive atmosphere, with profits going to school activities.

Cherves-Richemont, between vineyards and heritage

Cherves-Richemont is a commune in the canton of Cognac, located a few kilometers north of the capital of cognac. The village actually combines two historic hamlets, Cherves and Richemont, whose Romanesque church and castle remains bear witness to a rich medieval past. The vineyards of Fins Bois surround the commune, offering a landscape typical of the Charente wine region.

A car boot sale at the heart of community life

The APE of Cherves-Richemont is very active and organizes several events throughout the year to fund school projects. The spring car boot sale is the most important of these, with a pitch offered at 2 euros per linear meter upon reservation. Exhibitors, mainly individuals, offer clothing, toys, books, dishes, small furniture, and decorative items.

Food and conviviality

A refreshment stand and a food stall are run by association volunteers, offering sandwiches, crepes, and drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with children able to enjoy small activities organized in parallel.
