Car boot sale of August 15th La Chapelle-en-Vercors

Looking back at the August 15th, 2025 edition

On Friday, August 15th, 2025, a public holiday (Assumption Day), La Chapelle-en-Vercors pulsed to the rhythm of its annual car boot sale. In the village square, between stone houses and Vercors fir trees, sellers and visitors enjoyed a beautiful summer day at altitude to hunt for treasures and stroll in a warm atmosphere.

As every year, this mid-August car boot sale benefits from the presence of numerous tourists and hikers staying on the Vercors plateau. The stalls offered a varied assortment of second-hand items: crockery, books, toys, clothes, trinkets, and small furniture. All this in the incomparable setting of this mountain village surrounded by imposing limestone cliffs.

The 2026 edition, scheduled for August 15th, promises to be just as friendly in this exceptional natural setting.
