On July 14th, 2025, Vernon vibrated to the rhythm of its double celebration: the National Holiday on one hand, and its annual car boot sale on the other. Private sellers took over the streets and squares of the town from the morning to offer their second-hand items to the many visitors taking advantage of this summer public holiday.

Clothes, books, trinkets, toys, and various objects enlivened the aisles on a sunny day. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere, typical of large summer popular fairs, allowed for great encounters and good deals. Tourists passing through this town with its exceptional medieval heritage were able to combine culture, walks, and treasure hunting in the historic streets.
