Every August, Bayonne organizes its summer street sale, the most important of the city's three annual street sales. For three days, the streets of the city center transform into a huge open-air market. It is the longest and busiest of the Bayonne street sales.

A major summer event

In the heart of the tourist season, the summer street sale attracts not only the people of Bayonne and the BAB (Bayonne-Anglet-Biarritz) area but also many holidaymakers from the Basque coast and the southern Landes. The summer atmosphere, the architectural setting of old Bayonne, and the great deals create an irresistible cocktail.

Three days of great deals

From Friday to Sunday, local merchants offer their collections at discounted prices. Traveling vendors supplement the offerings on Fridays and Saturdays. Clothing, shoes, leather goods, sporting goods, decoration, stationery: the opportunities are numerous, and discounts can reach 50 to 70%.
